Abstract
It is believed that youth is the most important period of life. This is the time in which opinions, habits and beliefs are formed, and it is important for the time to be spent in personal development. The progress of any nation and country is based upon its youth, who head their families and becomes defender of their nation. History surfaces the names of great leaders and defenders such as Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Aiysha, Muhammad Bin Qasim, Haroon Ur Rasheed, Mahmood Ghaznavi etc. They are the real heroes and pride for the nations for their feats to the end of the world. Most of the leaders and heroes in the Muslim history belong to youth. They were given the titles such as “the door to the city of knowledge, sword of God, and conqurar of Sindh etc. in their youth time. If we compare the services of our new generation, we observe a big gap in attitude, little seriousness, and unfamiliarity to provide solutions of problems. The reason behind this is, the losing interest in education and research. An uneducated mind shows an irresponsible behaviour, and a non-serious thought subsequently bring forward the futile conduct. This affects the society and puts it in an awful situation by growing crimes. Today's severe crimes such as terrorism, killing, robbery, kidnapping rooted from the unhealthy activities. Our youth is not being followed and trained on the footstep of our Holy Prophet. There is a dire need to educate our young generation and to provide a platform of healthy activities to build their moral values, and to bring them forward in developing their society to real standards. They must be known of their responsibilities, and understand the ways to lead their families, nation, and country. Muslim youth can contribute to Islam by giving time, talent and money. They should also play a significant role to bring about positive change in society. This article is written in the same context.
