Abstract

Islam is a cosmopolitan religion. Its sublimity is in its acceptability and absorption. Whenever  passing days the problems and resources are going to pile up and changing the individual life. Based on the principles of the Holy Quran and Sunnah Islamic jurists have been engaged in giving solutions of the problems arising in the life. "Sadr ul Shariah" was one of such jurists. Although the term "Sunnah" was generally applied to all disciplines of knowledge in the early periods of Islamic history, but he described the term in all progressive stages in the lights of the views of different Muslims jurists, He has mentioned all definitions of " Sunnah" and tried to approach a definition , collective of all different  views. This can be seen that he was successful in his endeavor to develop unanimity among the different school of Fiqh. This article will elucidate "Sadr ul Shariah" views regarding "Sunnah".
