Imam Marzi and His Almualim Bfawaid Muslim: Introduction and Analysis

Abstract

The article under discussion is about al-Mu,lim,a commentary of al-Jami, Al Sahih by a renowned muhaddith , imam Muslim .The commentator of al_Mu,lim, imam Mazri belonged to al_ Magrib .He was a proficient student and a teacher of Hadith .He was considered as one of the forerunner commentator of this compendia .In his lecture to students, he focused on different aspects ofal_jami,. He elaborated the silent features of this compendia .Some of the brilliant student jotted down the lectures of his teacher. On the completion of this commentary of Ahadith_ e_ Sahiha, his students sought the permission from their respectable teacher for bublication of the material . The remarkable teacher allowed the publication and also went through the jotted down material .Thus, in such a way this commentary reached to the coming generations.Imam Mazri has explained the main features and qualities of al_Jami. He discussed the Sanad and Matan both in his lectures.We have tried to derive silent features of this commentary .Hopefully the youngsters will add to it.
