The Selected Rules to Specify the “Reference of Pronoun” in Quran

Abstract

“Dalal ut zamier" is an importamt topic of 'uloom ul Quran. It is a fundamental method to understand the Quranic verses from different angles for interpretation of Quran.It is essential to know about “reference of pronoun” that’s change causes differences in Quranic exegesis and also a major reason of theological discussions. In Quran, pronouns and their references are indepensible for one another whether they are used in plane words or semantically or are inferred from the context. Due to the importance of relationship between pronoun and its references, the interpreters and syntacticals have derived the basic rules of reference of pronoun from Holy Quran. In the light of these rules and principles, it becomes easy to understand the purpose of using pronoun and correct interpretation of Holy Quran.
