Vagueness of Qur'ānic Diction Regarding Time

Abstract

The study of indistinctive and ambiguous points in the Quranic verses is a major part of the Quran studies such verses give an unclear picture of the happenings So that research and vast study can be done in these ambiguous areas. The working in this area of study reveals the intensity and depth of Holy Quran and strengthens the beliefs that these are an eternal source of guidance. The research deals with a very important subject in the life. It’s the time and its division into units and parts. The research includes linguistic and idiomatic definition for time, Its units and parts mentioning the structure and worlds indicating it in general after wards. Efforts have been made to talk about the quranic verses depicting some specific terms of time and discussing the variant view points of the commendations of Quran leading to a preferred one meaning. The reasons of vagueness in the verses is also described briefly.
